The concept was good for a children's short story. However, there are quite a few spelling errors in the book. As an adult, when I read and find spelling errors, it detracts from the focus and enjoyment of a story, but I can largely ignore spelling errors.I am more critical when I pre-read stories or books that my child will read, because children, particularly those in grade school, are still learning how to spell correctly. It is important that stories marketed to children model good story lines, plots, character development, and correct writing in terms of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
I would love to let my daughter read this story, but not until (or if) the spelling errors are corrected. Although, I guess I could be creative, re-read the story, count all the spelling errors, and then ask my daughter to find them, and give her a prize for each spelling error she correctly identifies.
While the author is at it, perhaps she can fix the transposition of the "r" and the "e" in the word "Modern" in the title of this book. Beyond that.... I have one issue regarding how the main character solves his problem of being bullied.

*** spoiler alert ***
The character solves his problem through a combination of hacking the electronic devices of others, coupled with a threat to remove software from their devices if the bullying begins again. While that is a creative solution, there are some schools where if a student were to do the same as the main character, the student might find themselves in suspension status from school.
